What this covers
If you have messaged Golden Era Insurance Agency or commented on our pages on Facebook or Instagram, or sent us information through this website, you can ask us to delete it. This includes the messages themselves, your profile name, and the account identifier the platform gave us.
How to request deletion
- Email info@goldenerainsurance.com with the subject line Data deletion request, or call us at (510) 270-8141.
- Tell us the name on your Facebook or Instagram account, or the email address or phone number you used with us, so we can find your information.
- We will confirm we received your request and may ask a question to verify it is really you.
What happens next
We will delete the information and confirm with you within 45 days. If you are a client, some records must be kept by law, such as insurance policy and claims records. We will tell you if any of your information falls under that requirement.
Deleting information from our records does not remove messages from your own Facebook or Instagram account. You can delete those in the app, and you can remove our access under your account settings on each platform.
