The story behind Golden Era.
Daven Loomba spent more than twenty years working in the trucking industry — not behind an insurance desk, but in the operations that keep fleets moving. He managed drivers, handled compliance, dealt with brokers, and sat through enough renewal meetings to know exactly how the process felt from the fleet owner's side.
What he saw frustrated him. Agents who didn't return calls. Renewal quotes that showed up late with unexplained rate increases. Coverage gaps that only surfaced after an accident. And a general sense that the people writing the policies didn't understand the business they were insuring.
So he got his insurance license and built Golden Era Insurance Agency in Fremont, California — not as another generic agency, but as the one he wished he'd had when he was on the other side of the desk.
Since 2019, Golden Era has grown into a trucking-focused agency serving fleets across six states. Daven still personally reviews every policy before it goes out. He still answers his phone. And he still runs the agency the way he'd want to be treated as a client — with straight answers, honest pricing, and no surprises.
